Richard "Tip" Bollinger

Richard L. “Tip” Bollinger, 75, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at his home.



Born on Monday, February 27, 1939 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Wilson J. and Mary K. Meckley Bollinger, and was the husband of the late Doris M. Bollinger, who died February 18, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles W. Bollinger.



Mr. Bollinger was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and was a 1958 graduate of Eichelberger High School. He retired in 2001 from Emeco in Hanover after 45 years of service and was an avid fisherman in area lakes and rivers.



Survivors include his sister, Barbara B. Fishel and her husband, Robert, of York; and five step-children, Allen McKim, Dawn Miller, Patricia Seiders, Mari Bondurant and Barbara Gilbert.



Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut Street, Hanover, PA 17331
