Raymond H. Nelson, 86, of Hanover, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home.
Born on Sunday, November 16, 1930 in Crisfield, MD, he was a son of the late John M. and Julia B. Pruitt Nelson. The last of his generation, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Maynard Nelson and Robert L. Nelson; and four sisters, Marie Daugherty, Virginia Mae Neal, Betty Jane Kopp and Joanne Hunter. After 27 years of service with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, he retired in 1991 as a contract coordinator.
Raymond is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per his request, no service is planned. Entombment will be in the Parkwood Chapel Mausoleum in Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, PO Box 1948, Westminster, MD 21158.
