Services: The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Hanover Foursquare Gospel Church with Rev. Kevin Orewiler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Dubs) Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 on Monday evening at Panebaker Funeral Home.
Randy S. Sprenkle, 51, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Thursday, August 14, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.Born on November 6, 1956 to Betty Jane Strausbaugh Sprenkle and the late Gerald Idelle Sprenkle, Sr., he was a lifelong resident of Hanover. He attended Hanover High School and graduated from York Vocational Technical School. He was a former employee of Cramer Ziegler Tire Company and was currently employed by PennDOT, where he had worked for the last 31 years. A very dedicated employee, he was known to lie in the snow while working on trucks.Mr. Sprenkle attended Hanover’s Foursquare Gospel Church and was a member of the Hanover Moose Lodge, the VFW and American Legion. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, as he was proud the eight-point deer he had killed. He also worked on racecars and was a NASCAR enthusiast. A man of integrity, his family was his priority.Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife of 31 years Sue Ann Noel Sprenkle; two daughters, Heather McNally of Hanover, and Jami Chesson and husband, James, of Bedminister, NJ; two grandchildren, Briana and Alexandria McNally; a brother, Gerald Sprenkle, Jr. of Hanover; two sisters, Karen Martz, and Vickie Storm and husband, Dan, all of Hanover; and many nieces and nephews.
