Ralph M. Wildasin, 99, of Hanover, passed away on February 2, 2017 at Hanover Hospital.

Born on Wednesday, August 29, 1917 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Myredith and Mary Catherine Monath Wildasin. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Harriet V. Wildasin, who died in 2000; his first wife, Katherine Markle; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Ralph served in the US Army during World War II. After the war, he was an employee of AMF and later retired from Revonah Spinning Mill. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover and a former member of the Hanover VFW Post 2506. He enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, bowling, and working in his workshop. He created most of the furniture in his home and could always be found tinkering with different items.

Survivors include one daughter, Faye Wildasin Hawn and her husband, Kevin, of Spring Grove, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service is planned.
