Phyllis L. Rohrbaugh Cline, 89, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Paramount Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Wednesday, August 5, 1931 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Elwood L. and Lillian Trump Rohrbaugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 67 years, Theron E. “Jim” Cline, who died in 2019; and her siblings, Connie Fuhrman, and Gary and Larry Rohrbaugh. A 1949 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she retired from Revonah Pretzel in 1994. Phyllis was also a former employee of Hanover Shoe Company, where she met her husband, Jim. She was a lifetime member of the former Lohr’s United Methodist Church, and was an avid reader who enjoyed shopping and caring for animals, especially her cat, Simba. Moreover, Phyllis loved spending time with her grandsons.
Survivors include her daughter, Allison Cline Saia and her husband, Dan, of Hanover; the two grandsons which were her pride and joy, Holden Jones of Seattle and Harrison Jones of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to remember Phyllis’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive-Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
