Philip C. Krenzer, 86, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Pappus House.
Born on Saturday, November 21, 1936 in Hanover, he was a son of the late George Elmer and Josephine Arigo Krenzer. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Janet E. Mumma Krenzer, who died March 18, 2019; and a brother, Harry Krenzer. Philip was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he enjoyed working as a radio man and was a 1954 graduate of Eichelberger High School. He was employed for over 25 years by Litton Industries and created and managed databases for local area businesses and organizations. Philip was gifted with computers, enjoyed riding bikes, italian cooking, and reading Sherlock Holmes and Stephen King. He belonged to the Republican Club and the AMVETS Post #22. Philip had a good taste for music and enjoyed Penn State Football and the New York Jets.
Survivors include four children, Steven Krenzer, Kevin Krenzer, Michelle Goode, and Eric Krenzer and his fiancée, Lorie Arndt; seven grandchildren, Danee´, Joshua, Terron, Tasia, Tarreus, Tia, and Ella; eight great grandchildren; five nephew; and his beloved dog and cat, Fritz and Kat2;
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
