Philip C. Bealing, 58, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Hanover Hospital.

Born on Monday, July 13, 1959 in Hanover, he was the son of Philip E. Bealing of Hanover and the late Jean Wierman Bealing. He was of the Catholic faith. Phil was a 1977 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and received an Associate’s Degree from the Electronics Institute in Harrisburg in 1980. He was employed by the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) for 31 years as an electronics technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed target shooting and was a member of the Green Springs Rod and Gun Club in Hanover.

In addition to his father, survivors include his sister, Elisa A. Laughman and her husband, Philip, of New Oxford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover with The Rev. Ryan M. Fischer celebrating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331 or to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
