Philip J. Baral, Jr., 84, formerly of Biglerville, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, December 19, 2016 at ManorCare Health Services in Dallastown.
Born on Saturday, January 16, 1932 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Philip J. Baral, Sr. and Mabel M. Elliott Baral. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kuntz Baral; a son, David Baral; a brother, Louis Baral; a granddaughter, Lori Baral; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Baral. Philip’s passion was farming and working with beef and dairy cattle.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Baral and his wife, Grace, Kenneth Baral and his wife, Karen, John Baral and his wife, Agnes, all of New Oxford; two daughters, Linda Goad and her husband, Ed, of Dover, and Carol Hunt of Gettysburg; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Baral of Spring Grove; a sister, Caroline Baral of Hanover; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with Pastor Rob Greene officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Heidlersburg Cemetery.
