Peggy Shaffer Munson Morgan
Peggy Shaffer Munson Morgan, 82, of New Oxford, wife of the late Tom Morgan, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021 at SpiriTrust Lutheran- the Village at Utz Terrace.
Born on Thursday, March 30, 1939 in Westminster, MD, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Ada Owens Shaffer. She was also preceded in death by two children, Joseph and Alice Marie Munson; first husband, Virgil Lee Munson; sister, Jean Fike; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Shaffer. A graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, Peggy worked as a Security Guard and a Home Health Aid for many years. She was a talented seamstress.
Survivors include four children, Debbie Shuey and her husband, Mike, Leslie Blanks, Sonny Munson, and Rusty Munson and his wife, Marie; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Fisher; and a brother, Junior Shaffer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
