Paulyne G. Small

Paulyne G. Small, 95, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at her home.

Born on Friday, October 30, 1925 in Silver Run, MD, she was a daughter of the late Abraham F. and Annie Geeting Groft. She was also preceded in death by her husband of more than 38 years, Francis X. Small, who died in 1995; two sisters, Louise Weaver and Doris Groft; and a brother, Earl S. Groft. Paulyne was a 1943 graduate of Westminster (MD) and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on York Street. In 1987, she retired from Keystone Wire Cloth after more than 30 years of service.

Survivors include two sons, Byron L. Groft and Jay F. Small; two granddaughters, Heather Cole and Sara Becker; and four great-grandchildren, Brennan and Coben Cole, and Colton and Addison Becker.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 6,2021 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. E. Robert Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
