Services: A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Visitation: Viewing will be Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pauline B. Kehr, 85, of New Oxford, formerly of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 9:18 p.m. Tuesday evening, July 17, 2007 at The Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. She was the loving wife of Raymond L. Kehr to whom she was married over 68 years. Born in Union Township, PA on June 21, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Thevan and Hattie Wentz Bowers. From 1982 till 1989, Pauline was employed by The Hanover Shoe Company. She later retired from Value City of Hanover. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Broadway in Hanover. Pauline loved her family, and her life revolved around them. She will be sadly missed by her 6 daughters Donna Leese and husband Melvin of Hanover, Patricia Gebhart and husband Wayne of Hanover, Peggy Smith and husband Jerry of Hanover, Judith Sipling of New Oxford, Pamela Flynn and husband Sean of Riverview, FL, Stacie Coppersmith and husband Todd of New Oxford, 4 sons Larry Kehr of Thomasville and wife Patsy of Abbottstown, Gerald Kehr and wife Debbie of Dallas, TX, Daniel Kehr and wife Julie of Hanover, William Kehr and wife Rhonda of Hanover, 19 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, and a brother Jack Bowers and his wife Janet of Littlestown. She was preceded in death by two sisters Kathleen Morehead, Anna Rippeon, a brother James Bowers and a son-in-law Harold Sipling. A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be Thursday evening 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens. The Rev. David L. DeLong will officiate. Her family will serve as Pallbearers.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
