Paul E. Harbold, Jr., 75, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Born on Sunday, July 22, 1945 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Paul E. Harbold, Sr. and Dremma Elizabeth Jacob Harbold. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Theresa F. Wetzel Harbold, who died in 2015; and a sister, Deborah Linn. Paul was a retired employee of CW Test Builders, Inc. and proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post # 2506, Harold H. Bair American Legion Post # 14, AmVets Post #22, the Hanover Home Association, McSherrystown Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 720 and the Hanover Eagles Aerie #1406. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, camping, and offshore fishing.
Survivors include three children, Patty Harbold and her companion, Gary Showers, of Littlestown, Randy Harbold and his wife, Angie, of Fort Myers, FL and Kelly Lovell and her husband, Chris, of Hanover; grandchildren, Renee and Tyra Lovell, Emily, Daisy and Lauryn Showers, Alexis Harbold, and Nicholas Stambaugh; a brother, Stanley Harbold and his wife, Gloria, of New Oxford; two nephews and a niece.
A private service will be held.
