Paul Thomas Falk, 83, of Hanover, beloved husband of Dolores (Smolnik) Falk, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital.
Born on Monday, July 29, 1940, in New York City, he was a son of the late Rudolf Hugo and Edna Caroline Mary Frohnapfel Falk. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald Falk. Paul obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Hartford and worked as an engineer until his retirement. He was a selfless provider and always put others’ needs before his own. His strong work ethic was visible in all aspects of his life, fueled by his motivation to provide for his beloved family. Paul had a lifelong love and interest for aviation and aircraft formally beginning with his attendance at the Academy of Aeronautics after high school. He was known best for his prolific advice, whether you wanted it or not, and always had good, thorough and logical intentions.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 60 years, are his sister Joan Loughran, children Thomas (Paige) Falk, William (Kassi) Falk, and Cynthia (Mark) D’Annunzio; grandchildren Julia, Kris, Tyler, Nick, Hayden, Josh, and Molly; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at 11 am at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
