Paul J. Crook, 89, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Pleasant Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in York.
Born on Monday, September 7, 1931 in Hampton, PA, he was a son of the late Boyd and Margie Rhinehart Crook. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Crook; a sister, Joanne Miller; and his companion of 40 years, Gladys Reese. Skilled with his hands, he worked as a welder at TryTek Machine Works, Inc. for many years and enjoyed playing bass guitar in country bands.
Survivors include three sons, Gregory Crook, of Lykens, and Brian and Barton Crook, both of Hanover; two daughters, Jeanette Crook, of York, and Paulette Crook, of Hanover; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Shirley Warner.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover.
