Patti Ann Glatfelter, 57, of Hanover, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Gettysburg Hospital following a long journey with heart disease.
Born on Monday, May 29, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Marvin R. and Nancy M. Musselman Caler and wife of the late Fred E. Glatfelter, Jr. who died in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Allen Caler.
She was a member of the 1979 Class of Hanover High School and worshiped at Christ Church of Littlestown. A woman with a very generous spirit, she was the best grandma in the world. She had a funny wit with no filter that brought smiles to many people's faces. An animal lover, she was bonded with her Pomeranian, Chloe.
She is survived by three children, Ashley Riley and her husband, Andrew Grove, Daniel David Glatfelter, all of Gettysburg and Amy Jo Seymore and her husband, Michael, of Hanover; six grandchildren, Adalee, Layla and Savannah Grove and Gage, Mason and Rylan Seymore; four brothers, Jim Caler, Steve Caler and his wife, Jane, Michael Caler and his wife, Elaine and Rick Caler and his wife, Elaine, all of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at a viewing from 2 pm to 4 pm Sunday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with a prayer service at 4 pm by Pastor Craig Arentz. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 1 pm Monday, December 10, 2018 at Rest Haven Cemetery.
