Patricia A. Mills

Patricia A. Mills, 81, of Hanover, beloved wife of Donald Eugene Mills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

Born on Monday, June 3, 1935 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Erzy and Catherine Gross Dull. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Nira Stoner.

A 1953 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Patricia was a former employee of the Doubleday Company in Hanover and later retired from Sears after 37 years of service. A volunteer in the Hospitality Shop at Hanover Hospital, she enjoyed playing cards, vacationing, going to the movies, and dancing to her favorite types of music. Patricia loved being with her family and friends and took great pleasure in spending time with her beloved canine companion, Precious.

In addition to her husband of 58 years, survivors include three children, Vickie Werner and her husband, Steve, of Hanover, Ricci Mills and his wife, Lisa, of Lancaster, and Stacia Frankowiak and her husband, Joe, of Frederick, MD; five grandchildren; and eight great-grand children.

A funeral will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with Mr. Ron Leese officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held on Monday from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.
