Patricia "Patty" Menges
Patricia Ann “Patty” Menges, 60, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at her home.
Born on Saturday, December 12, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Jacob William and Helena Grace Martz Menges. She was a 1972 graduate of Delone Catholic High School.
Patty was a 20 year employee of Eisenhart Wallcovering and a lifelong parishioner of St. Vincent dePaul Church. She loved spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Angelic Foltz Mallory and her husband, Billy, of Hanover, and Neil Unger and his girlfriend, Cassandra Balek, of New Oxford; three grandchildren, Autumn-Rhayne Laughman, and Jacob and Ethan Mallory; a sister, Carol Jean Menges of Dover; a brother, David W. Menges of Hanover. She was a loving and caring “mother” to a large extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Friday, September 5, 2014 at St. Vincent dePaul Church, 220 Third Street, Hanover with The Rev. John D. Schmalhofer serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Vincent’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing in the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
