Patricia C. Borowick, 87, of Hanover, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born on October 5, 1925 in McSherrystown, she was a daughter of the late J. Donald and Murial C. Rice Spangler. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas Spangler and James Donald Spangler, who was her twin.
A 1943 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, she performed charity work for the school later in her life. She was a member of Annunciation BVM Church and donated her time to an orphanage in Abbottstown.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Borowick of Hanover; a sister, Lorraine “Kitty” Stonesifer of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Lawrence Sherdel officiating. Burial will follow in Annunciation BVM Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service.
