Patricia K. Anthony, 69, of Hanover, formerly of Thonotosassa, FL died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her sister’s residence following a lengthy illness.
Born on December 29, 1940 in Sellersville, PA, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Iva Anthony. A 1958 graduate of Littlestown High School, she later studied stenography at Thompson College. Starting her career as a secretary, she was employed in Chicago for 10 years before moving to home to Littlestown for 10 years. She later moved to Tampa, FL where she was employed with Verizon and retired after 30 years of service. A member of East Thonotosassa Baptist Church, she enjoyed crafts and flea markets with her friends and time spent with her cats.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Sterner of Hanover; three nieces, Karen Cramer and her husband, Ted of Spring Grove, Carol Fishel and her husband, Steve of Abbottstown and Kathy Shanebrook and her husband, Steve of Hanover; several cousins and devoted friends.
Services will be private.
