Pamela A. Dehoff, 65, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at UPMC Hanover.
Born on Thursday, August 22, 1957 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of Lillie May (Doss) Houck of Hanover and the late Wayne A. Dehoff, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Marvin H. Houck; and a nephew, Adam W. Dehoff. A 1975 graduate of Westminster (MD) High School, Pam spent most of her working career in the trucking industry, primarily at New England Motor Freight. She was kind hearted, funny, loving and compassionate. Pam enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and traveling, especially to Tennessee or to the beach, and always had a soft spot in her heart for animals. She treasured the time she spent with her family and friends and loved to reminisce about fun memories from her younger years.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three siblings, Wayne A. Dehoff, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Oklahoma, Karen D. Fish and her husband, David, of Shepherdstown, WV, and Steven A. Dehoff and his wife, Sue, of Shippensburg, PA; and nieces and nephews, Kelly A. Dehoff, David R. Maisch, Rachel E. Dehoff and Danielle A. Fish.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover, PA with The Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg. The family will receive friends at viewings to be held from 4 to 6:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
