Norman E. Klinedinst, 87, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 7:40 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the Golden Living Center, Gettysburg. He was the husband of Betty Jane Biddle Klinedinst. Born in Hanover on December 31, 1919, he was the son of the late Claude and Molly Stump Klinedinst. Mr. Klinedinst had been employed as a Carpenter for more than 30 years until his retirement from TJ Shepherd Aluminum Siding in 1991. He graduated from Eichelberger High School with the class of 1937. In 1944, Mr. Klinedinst enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. As a Private First Class, he served his country with honor and valor while participating as a Field Artillery Crewman in the battles for Okinawa, and Ryukyu Islands. He was a member of Hanover American Legion Post #14, Hanover Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2506 and the Hanover Amvets Post #22. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Gary Klinedinst and wife Dorothy of Louisiana, 5 daughters Beverly Buhr of Hanover, Angela Brouse and husband Michael of Irishtown, Molly Anna Clark and husband (Tim) Wayne, Kim Klinedinst, April Cramer and husband Thomas all of Hanover, 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, a brother Earl (Tom) Klinedinst of Harrisburg and a sister Ethel Klinedinst of Hanover.
