Nelda L. Widdowson, 87, of Dillsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Celebration Villa of Dillsburg.
Born on Monday, January 6, 1936 in Nashville, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Lacey Johnson and Vesta Stallings Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Frederick Grant Widdowson, Sr., who died in 1993; and a granddaughter, Bridget Widdowson, who died in 2000.
Survivors include three children, Frederick Grant Widdowson, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of New Oxford, Douglas Brent Widdowson and his wife, Helen, of Carlisle, and Leslie Ann Stephan and her husband, Joe, of Westminster, MD; five grandchildren, Marcie, Tanner, Benjamin, Samantha and Tyler; nine step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and thirty step-great grandchildren.
Following cremation, burial will take place in Beechwood Memorial Cemetery, Princess Anne, to be announced at a later date.
