Naomi F. Meushaw

Naomi Meushaw, 85, of Hanover and formerly of Catonsville, MD, loving wife of Joseph Meushaw, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born on Thursday, December 29, 1932 in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Lillye Wenige Perrier. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Mikie Meushaw and a brother, Charles Perrier. Naomi was a graduate of Catonsville High School and collected hundreds of Teddy Bears throughout her life. There was not a bear that she did not love. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her husband of 68 years, survivors include three children, Joy Meushaw-Holler and her husband, Mark, of Hanover, Michael Meushaw of North Carolina, and John Meushaw and his wife, Carla, of Baltimore; seven grandchildren, Christopher Meushaw of Georgia, Christina Lanahan and her husband, John, of Baltimore, Heather Young and her husband, Bill, of Abingdon, MD, Angela Meushaw of Edgewood, MD, Megan Merrill and her husband, Shawn, of Baltimore, Vincent Meushaw and his fiancé, Shannon, and Patrick Holler, all of Hanover; ten great-grandchildren, Cara, Autumn, Madison, Emma, Adalynn, Vincent, Jr., Tristian, Tyler, Addy, and Caiden; two sisters, Mae D’Amato of Riverdale, MD and Irene Miller of Florida; and one granddog, Ramsay.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1pm on March 24, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
