Nancy L. Zumbrum

Nancy Lee Zumbrum, 80, of Hanover, wife of Robert L. Zumbrum, died peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center following a brief illness.



Born on October 18, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Ethel Leary Sellman. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Mark, who died in 2008 and a sister, Violet Duncan, who died in 2000. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hanover. Earlier in her life, she had been employed by Windsor Shoe Company for eighteen years and later cared for children in her home until 1995.



In addition to her husband of nearly 54 years, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Wendy Shaffer Zumbrum; two granddaughters, Crystal and Dana Zumbrum, all of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Patricia Riggle of Denver, CO and a brother, James Sellman of West Palm Beach, FL.



The funeral will be held at 11 am Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Gregory A. Rapp officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
