Nancy E. Weaver

Nancy E. Weaver, 74, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Saturday, October 16, 1948 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late John and Geraldine Baker Stawski. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Leroy D. Weaver, who died August 18, 2022; and a sister, Gloria T. Hilker. Nancy retired from Hanover General Hospital after 42 ½ years of service, where she worked in food service. She was a member of the First Church of Hanover who enjoyed travelling, especially her two trips to the Holy Land, and cross stitching. Mostly, Nancy loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include two nephews and a niece, Douglas E. Hilker and his wife, Nancy, Lorie A. Klunk and her husband, Doug, and Randy L. Hilker and his wife, Faye; six great nieces and nephews, Brittany Hilker, Jennifer Scobie and her husband, Tommy, Danielle Klunk, Andrew Hilker and his wife, Vanessa, Brent Hilker and his companion, Alicia, and John Hilker and his companion, Chasidy; and 16 great-great nieces and nephews, Brooke, Adlyn, Emmit, Maddox, Weslee, Teak, Ronan, Brett, Alexia, Vivian, Theron, Harlon, Preston, Cayna, Axel and Isaac.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 7, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover with Pastor Dan Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held privately at Rest Haven Cemetery.
