Nancy J. Warner, 79, formerly of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation Center, Bel Air, MD following a period of declining health.
Born in Harrisonburg, VA on March 23, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Blanche Wine Riddle and had lived in the Hanover area for most of her life. She was employed by Cross Keys Village-The Brethren Home Community for 30 years before her retirement, and was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church in Hanover.
Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda E. Gruver of Enola, Cindy A. Conrad of McSherrystown and Melissa S. Erway of Abingdon, MD; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Riddle, Jr. of Abbottstown and Barry Riddle of Hanover; and a sister, Judy Strait of Harrisonville, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Warner; a sister, Lois Riddle; and her step-mother, Naomi W. Riddle.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc. 311 Broadway, Hanover with Pastor Debby Bentch officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jacob’s Stone Church Cemetery. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
