Nancy R. Strausbaugh

Nancy R. Strausbaugh, of New Oxford, beloved wife of Ronald E. Strausbaugh, passed away peacefully into the eternal Kingdom of God on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home.

A native of Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Nelson M. and Ruth Dutterer Zeigler. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley; and a brother, Roland Zeigler. Nancy will be long remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who created everlasting memories.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 42 years, are three children, Kelly Matthias and her husband, Dan, of Manheim, Angela Topper and her husband, Bob, of Fort Benning, GA, and Darrick Strausbaugh of New Oxford; six grandchildren, Mason, Layla and Seth Topper, and Kelsionna, Tyler and Zachary Matthias; five sisters, Lois Reed, Cindy Tait, Janet Rohland, Darlene Smith and Marion Rippeon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Silver Run, MD. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
