Services: Her funeral will be held at 11:30 Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Dr. E. Edward Keyser will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation: The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the church parlor.
Nancy C. Sandruck, 96, of Hanover, died peacefully at Homewood at Plum Creek Tuesday, February 10, 2009.Born on June 20, 1912 in Porters Sidling, PA, she was a daughter of the late George M. and Emma Jane Myers Carl. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lester Monroe Sandruck, who died in 1984. Her two brothers, Robert Carl and Walter Carl also predeceased her. In 1974, she retired from Middleburg Manufacturing after 43 years of service. Survivors include two sons, Carl L. Sandruck and his wife, Nancy, of Hanover, and Alan M. Sandruck and his wife, Janet, of Fairport, NY; a brother, Paul E. Carl of Gettysburg, PA; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
