Nadine Garvick Berwager, 94, formerly of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on August 6, 2016 in Louisville, KY.
Born on Monday, March 7, 1922 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Wesley G. and Latura Ida Mae Worley Garvick and was also preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Earl W. Berwager, who died in 2014, and six siblings. Nadine was a food service supervisor with Servomation until her retirement in 1959. She was a longtime member of Grace United Church of Christ where she taught Bible School and was also a member of the Hanover Elks BPOE # 763 Ladies Auxiliary. She served as a volunteer with “Meals on Wheels” and the Hanover General Hospital hospitality shop.
Survivors include three children, Pat Lehigh (her husband Bob passed in 2016) of Fort Myers, FL, Mike Berwager and his wife, Sandy, of Tyrone, PA, and Tom Berwager and his wife, Giselle, of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00 pm at Rest Haven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Church of Christ, 100 Fourth Street, Hanover, PA 17331
