Mildred L. Keith

Mildred L. Keith, 79, of McSherrystown, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at her home.

Born on Thursday, June 4, 1942 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Herbert R. and Mary Sanders Gross. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary K. Keith, who died in 1999; a daughter, Leslie Updyke; and a sister, Joyce Jacoby. Mildred was a 1960 graduate of Delone Catholic High School and was a member of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Gifted with her hands, she enjoyed doing crafts and playing the organ.

Survivors include two children, Gary Keith, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of McSherrystown, and Shelly Mentzer and her husband, Brad, of Spring Grove; six grandchildren; a brother, William Gross and his wife, Anamae, of Hanover; six sisters, Regina Luckenbaugh of Spring Grove, Judy Jacoby of Thomasville, Linda Livelsberger and her husband, Brian, of New Oxford, Sue Bennett and her husband, William, Sr., of Littlestown, Deb Butler, and Sandy Ruppert and her husband, Barry, all of Hanover.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2022 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Richard Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
