Mike A. Moore Sr.

Mike Moore, Sr., 72, of Hanover, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2023 at Genesis Healthcare Gettysburg Center with his family by his side.

Born on Friday, December 1, 1950, he was a son of the late Bernard A. and Mary E. Weaver Moore. He was also preceded in death by five siblings, Phil, Terry, and Gerry Moore, Maria Moore, and Helen Lang. Mike was employed by the former Wampler Foods until his retirement. He enjoyed drinking coffee and sitting in his car listening to football games.

Survivors include five children, Cory Beard and his wife, Stacy, Mikey Moore, Jr. and his wife, Ariana, John Moore, Joseph Moore and his wife, Amber, and Mark Moore and his wife, Jess; six grandchildren, Shylynn, Koriann, Daren, Madison, Mea, and Holden; four siblings, Bernie, Kay, Paula, and Denny Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc 311 Broadway.
