Michael David Narkates, 59, of Hanover, died peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Hanover Hall following a brief illness.Born, June 30, 1949, in Radford, VA, to Howard and Mary Anne Narkates. The family later moved to Hanover, where he later graduated from Hanover High School in 1967. Following high school, he lived on the west coast playing his guitar in the band, Mojo Hand. Music was his passion. In 1983, he returned to Hanover and was employed with Hanover Terminal.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Deborah L. Russell and her husband, Terry, of Boise, Idaho; two nephews, Jesse T. Russell and Aaron M. Russell and his wife, Kelli, all of Indiana; one niece, Lindsay R. Russell of Indiana; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
