Michael L. Harpold, 67, of Hanover, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 10, 2013 with his niece, Jessica Hoffman, and companion, Linda Wolfe, by his side.
Born May 26, 1945 in Washington, DC, he was a 17 year veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He was a former salesperson with Hanover Dodge and Gene Latta Ford. Mr. Harpold was an avid photographer and was a life member of the Hanover VFW Post # 2506.
Surviving, in addition to his niece and companion, are two sisters, Toni Randall and Kathy DeLong; one brother, Skip Fowler; two half-sisters, Cynthia Cooper and Kathy Carroll; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Harpold.
The funeral will be held at 4 pm Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends at a viewing 3-4pm Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331 to help defray the final expenses.
