Michael Perry Craig, Jr., 43, loving husband of Julie Ann Pottorff Craig of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, March 25, 2013 at his home.
Born May 3, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of Alma Marie Klinedinst of Hanover and the late Michael Perry Craig, Sr. Skilled with his hands, he was a carpenter by trade in residential remodeling and a talented musician. He enjoyed playing the guitar, composing songs and contributing as a member of the band, Shameless Child. He also loved the outdoors and to go fishing. He was a good hearted, giving man who will be deeply missed by his family and friends at the Calvary Bible Church.
In addition to his mother and his wife of 23 years, he is survived by his children, Michael Perry Craig, III and his fiancée, Shannon Fisher, of Hanover and Stephanie Elizabeth Craig of the home; two brothers, Ralph Vaughn and his wife, Becky, and Dale Craig and his wife, Tina; a sister, Mary Schaffer, all of Hanover; 12 nieces and nephews; and his “Pops” Kenny Fisher.
The funeral will be held 11 am Friday, March 29, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Michael Osladil officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 9 am until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
