Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grandview Road, Hanover.
Visitation: A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. A prayer service will be held at 8:30pm Thursday evening.
MARY JANE McMASTER, 59, of Hanover, died 11:45pm Monday, May 28, 2007 at her home. She was the loving wife of James F. McMaster to whom she had been married since March 14, 1970. Born on November 30, 1947 in Hanover, she was the daughter of Earl H. Newman of Hanover and the late Charlotte Kale Newman and the only sister to James E. Newman of Red Lion, Nicholas W. Newman of McSherrystown, Ronald J. Newman of Hanover, Earl H. Newman II of York and Patrick J. Newman of Hanover. Mrs. McMaster was a member of the Class of 1965 of Delone Catholic High School. She had been the Secretary to the Assistant Principal of Southwestern High School for 18 years. She loved her family and will be sadly missed by not only her husband, father, and brothers, but especially by her children Angela M. Brown and husband Steven of Hanover, James F. Jake McMaster Jr.and wife Kelly of Hanover, John W. McMaster of McSherrystown, Michael P. McMaster of Spring Grove and her very special niece Cathy L. Harner and husband Chad of East Berlin. She was a special grandmother to Reed, Hannah, and Madisyn McMaster, Joshua, Christopher, and Andrew Brown, Brady McMaster, and Trent and Bryce Harner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grandview Road, Hanover. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. A prayer service will be held at 8:30pm Thursday evening. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Joseph Gotwalt will be the celebrant. The family requests that contributions in Mrs. McMaster's memory be made to AHCS/Amazing Kids Club, 33 Frederick Street, Hanover,PA 17331. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews David Newman, Daniel Newman, Douglas Newman, Christopher Newman, James Newman and Chad Harner.


Memorials: The family requests that contributions in Mrs. McMaster's memory be made to AHCS/Amazing Kids Club, 33 Frederick Street, Hanover,PA 17331.
