Mary Jane Jacoby

Mary Jane Jacoby, 91, of Hanover, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Hanover Hospital.

Born on Saturday, April 18, 1925 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Anna Leppo Rill. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Robert L. Jacoby, who died in 2000; a daughter, Diane Crimmins, and five siblings. An employee of Freeman Shoe, Mary Jane loved to play Bingo every chance she could.

Survivors include a son, Charles A. Kappes and his wife, Beth; two daughters, Linda Kohler and her husband, Terry, and Peggy Groves and her husband, Lonnie; a step-daughter, Marilyn Lecrone; son-in-law, John Crimmins; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2pm on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service.
