Mary Marie Berwager

Mary Marie Berwager, 91, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Gettysburg.

Born on Tuesday, August 1, 1922 in Baltimore County, MD, she was a daughter of the late Lester E. and Mary F. Royston Hare. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry George Berwager, who died in 2004; a brother, Lester E. Hare, Jr.; and her sister, Treva Hare Garrett. She was a member of St. Paul (The Pines) Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Berwager is survived by a brother, Larry E. Hare and his wife, Mary, of Hanover.

The funeral will be held at 10 am Monday, May 12, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Benson Paull officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 9 to 10 am Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul (The Pines) Lutheran Church, 1535 Hunterstown Hampton Road, New Oxford, PA 17350.
