Mark Richardson, 66, of Hanover, PA, loving husband of Barbara (Quarry) Richardson, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Born on Sunday, April 6, 1958, in Altoona, PA, he was a son of the late Robert E. Lee Richardson and Martha Jane (Anderson) Richardson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Timmy Richardson, both of Altoona.
Mark proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he retired and later worked for UTZ Brands for many years. Mark was a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He also held memberships with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2506, the American Legion Post #202, The Retired Enlisted Association (TREA), The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1406, the McSherrystown Home Association, and the McSherrystown Fish and Game.
Mark loved American Automobiles, Baseball and Football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed model trains, RC cars and good friends. Mark enjoyed life.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 32 years, is one sister, Susan Hileman and her husband, Tom; numerous nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many loving family, friends and neighbors.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway in Hanover. Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the funeral home. A short Ceremony will follow at Indiantown Gap National Military Cemetery in Annville, PA at 11:30 AM with Full Military Honors presented by the United States Navy.
