Marita Shaw
Marita “Mimi” Shaw, Jr., 45, of New Oxford, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, November 11, 2013 at her home.
Born Tuesday, August 6, 1968 in Baltimore, she was a daughter of Dennis and Marita Leary Shaw of Glenville. She was a graduate of The Catholic High School in Baltimore and received an Associate’s degree from Essex Community College.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her siblings, Alicia, Denny, Hilary and Cameron Shaw; and nephews, Sammy, Alex, Josh and Noah. She was married to Tom Shultz and is also survived by a step-son, Shane.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the York Co. SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17402 or to Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE 19713.
