Marion Geissinger

Marion D. Geissinger, 98, formerly of Hanover and wife of Blair J. Geissinger, died Friday, February 1, 2013 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in York.



Born on July 16, 1914 in Lawrence, MA, she was a daughter of the late Conrad and Marie DiFalco Bordenell.



A graduate of Lawrence High School, she was later trained as an LPN at Danvers State Hospital in Hawthorne, MA. She was active with VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove, Lutheran Social Services and Homewood. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.



In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Cora Levasseur of Methuen, MA and Natalie Roy of Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.



The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
