Marilyn L. Miller, 91, a longtime resident of Homewood at Plum Creek, entered into God’s eternal care on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Homewood.
Born on Tuesday, August 19, 1924 in Canton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ernest P. and Estelle Narwold Miller. A 1942 graduate of William Penn High School in York, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Education from West Chester University in 1946. She retired in 1987 from JC Penney where she was a sales associate for 18 years, and was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in York.
Marilyn is survived by a sister, Eileen Kriner and a niece, Linda McConkey, both of Dayton, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am Friday, October 30, 2015 at Homewood Chapel at Plum Creek. Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Homewood at Plum Creek Benevolence Fund, 425 Westminster Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331.
