Marie C. Dubbs

Marie C. Null Dubbs, 104, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.

Born on Tuesday, August 14, 1914 in Mount Pleasant Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey C. and Flora Mae King Null. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles E. Dubbs, who died in 1991; a daughter, Jeanne M. Keller; a son, Ronald Dubbs; and a grandson, Russell Dubbs. Marie was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Survivors include two children, Connie I. Dubbs Messinger and her husband, Richard, and Charles A. Dubbs and his wife Elva Mae Jenkins, all of Hanover; eleven grandchildren, Cindy, Rick, Candy, Rod, Ed, Charles, Robin, Doug, Deb, Randy and Ronna; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Lou Ann Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
