Maribel A. “Ricki” Baker, 90, of Hanover died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Hanover Hall.
Born January 13, 1921 in York Springs, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Grace Myers Rickrode and was the wife of 48 years to the late Eldon L. Baker, who died in 1989. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Rickrode. Mrs. Baker was a 1939 graduate of New Oxford High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey S. Baker and his wife, Cheryl, of Brooklyn Park, MD; three sisters, Gayle E. Smith, Jane Myers and Lucille E. Kopp, all of Hanover; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Rest Haven Cemetery with The Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating.
