Margaret "Maggie" Otey

Margaret T. “Maggie” Otey, 92, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Thursday, November 5, 1931 in Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Richard S. and Lillian M. Harner Weaver. A graduate of Delone Catholic High school, Maggie retired as an office manager for Prudential Insurance in York after 34 years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed travelling.

Maggie was the beloved wife of Allen L. Otey, her devoted husband of 46 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hanover by The Rev. Samuel Miller. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Catholic Church Cemetery in Littlestown. The viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the mass.
