Margaret A. M. Kallas, 60, of Spring Grove, loving wife of Steven T. Kallas, entered into God’s eternal care Thursday, June 12, 2014 at York Hospital.
Born on Wednesday, October 21, 1953 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Waldemar J. and Ingeborg Kuhnert Lachmann, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Maria Oaster. She was a 1973 graduate of South Western High School and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hanover. Margaret loved to play bingo and going to craft shows and the beach.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 38 years, is a daughter, Melissa Braun and her husband, Scott; a grandson, Jacob Braun, all of Hanover; a granddaughter, Stephanie Braun of Joppa, MD; and a sister, Rosie Geiman, of Hanover.
A private service is planned.
