Madeline R. Kuhn

Madeline Rosena Kuhn, 84, of Jacksonville, NC and formerly of Hanover, died on Monday, February 8, 2016.
Born on Wednesday, August 19, 1931 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Margarita Urick Staub. She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Donald J. Kuhn, who died in 2006, and a daughter, Carolyn Wilson, who died in 2004.  Madeline was a waitress in Hanover area restaurants and along with her husband, would clean the Hanover police station.
Survivors include three children, Cyril Kuhn and his wife, Beverly, of Hubert, NC, Eugene Kuhn and his wife, Brenda,  and Robert Kuhn and his wife, Sue, all of Hanover; a brother, Tom Staub of Hanover; a sister, Yvonne Rutters of West Virginia; eleven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Faye Snyder officiating.
