Madeline M. Clouser, 94, of Hanover entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community.
Born on Tuesday, February 3, 1920 in Hampstead, MD, she was a daughter of the late Ora G. and Lula E. Hann Bollinger. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert M. Clouser, who died in 2001; her son, Lewis B. Bollinger; and a brother, Arvel L. Bollinger, Sr.. Mrs. Clouser retired from Revonah Spinning Mills after 21 years of service and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Barbara A. Trent and her husband, Leonard, of Hanover; a sister, Delores Katz of Florida; two great-grandchildren, Melissa Dorer and her husband, Douglas, of Hanover, and Michael Markle of Spring Grove; her daughter-in-law, Rose M. Bollinger of Gettysburg; three step-grandchildren, Cindy Coleman of New Oxford, Larry Neiderer of Landisville and Jason Neiderer of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Monday, May 5, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Garry Sheaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ United Church of Christ Cemetery in Littlestown. The family will receive friends at a viewing on Monday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
