Maddie Swartz, 79, of Hanover, beloved wife of Michael W. Swartz, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.
Born on Friday, September 14, 1945 in York, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur Earl Spickler and Amy Louise George Zinn Spickler. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Lohss; and a brother, Robert Earl Spickler. Maddie was a 1963 graduate of William Penn High School. She enjoyed doing art and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 55 years, is a daughter, Zoe McCulley and her spouse, Lynn; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Haley McCulley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Maddie’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
