Madaline “Margie” Tomaso, 88, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at her home.
Born on Wednesday, February 5, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel May Hamilton D’Amato. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Frank Tomaso, who died in 2010; and two sons, Joseph and Christopher Taylor. Mrs. Tomaso retired from the US Postal Service after nearly 50 years of service and was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved her furry animals.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Danielle, Michelle and Rachel; two grandsons, Matthew and Jason; eight great-grandchildren, Summer, Sarah, Darrien, Veronica, Luke, Avery, Lev and Everett; and her nephew and niece who were her caregivers, Daniel and Lisa Steele.
A private service will be held.
