Lynne K. Williams, 77, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Born on Sunday, February 10, 1946 in Hanover, she was a daughter of Mary Jane Wildasin LeGore and the late Charles Alva LeGore. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Raymond A. Williams. Lynne was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and attended Drexel University. She worked for Hamilton Bank, where she met her husband, and for Webb Insurance where she worked until her retirement. Lynne served as the past president of the American Business Women’s Association and loved to read, garden, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite place to visit was Cape Hatteras, NC.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Bart A. Stevens and his wife, Tina of Hanover, Robert O. Williams and his wife, Megan of McSherrystown; six grandchildren, Desrayal Schaffer and her husband, Tyler, Leah Stevens and her fiancé Zach Brown, Byron Stevens and his fiancé, Amanda Benesch, Rachelle Stevens and her fiancé, Braxton Warner, Morgan Williams, and Max Williams; seven great grandchildren, Benton Stevens, Beau Stevens, Brayden Schaffer, Tanner Schaffer, Emmalyn Schaffer, Karson Warner, and Elena Warner; and one sister, Sharon Czapp.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
